Hello and Welcome to the website for Flitwick Bowls Club!  On behalf of all the Officials and Members we welcome you to our website, which we trust will be informative and of interest to all our members and friends.

Established in 1923, we have been a home to bowlers in Flitwick and the surrounding villages for nearly 100 years.

2023 is our Centenary year.  We will be celebrating 100 years with various events and invitation bowls matches against the likes of Bowls England.

Bowling is for everyone.  We cater for all levels of bowling skills, from members who enjoy a friendly roll-up through to those who participate in our extensive friendly fixture programme, to the Ladies and Men’s competition bowlers who over the years have had wide success at County and National level. Beginners of all ages are most welcome and help is at hand with our qualified coaches to guide you.
 

All members are encouraged to join in the club Men’s, Ladies and Mixed competitions.

 

There is a comfortable lounge bar and a large patio area where members can relax on summer evenings and enjoy a drink whilst watching games. We also have a TV screen to enjoy televised events whilst enjoying a relaxing drink.

Any darts players?  Come and join our darts league!

Various social events are held during the winter season and in addition to bowling members’ we also extend a warm welcome to non-playing social members.

We have a relaxed dress code when just rolling up, (informal practise) just wear what you feel comfortable in.  (Flat shoes are required in order to protect the green).  We wear club colours when playing club matches.

 

The club opens for bowling in April and our season closes in September.
